Abstract

Entrepreneurship has skyrocketed in India over the past decade, especially among youth who are leveraging technology, innovation, and consumer insights to build scalable enterprises. Young entrepreneurs are redefining conventional business norms, disrupting industries such as ed-tech, fintech, mobility, quick commerce, cybersecurity, logistics, and sustainable tech. Government initiatives like Startup India and ecosystem support from incubators, accelerators, investors, and platforms like Shark Tank India have substantially catalyzed entrepreneurial ambitions among the youth (Times of India, 2026).

India’s demographic dividend with a majority of its population under 35 presents immense entrepreneurial potential. Youth entrepreneurs combine risk-taking with innovation and adaptability; they often challenge traditional business models and rapidly scale using digital platforms. This research investigates success stories of young Indian entrepreneurs, exploring their journeys, strategies, challenges, and lessons learned. The paper emphasizes how these individuals identified critical problems, developed solutions, and scaled their ventures in competitive environments.

This research is significant for academicians, aspiring entrepreneurs, and policymakers. It contributes to understanding success factors, motivations, and strategic behaviors that can inform entrepreneurial training programs and support frameworks across India.
