Abstract

Road transport networks play a critical role in facilitating the socioeconomic development of regions. This research paper investigates the intricate relationship between road transport infrastructure and regional development. Using a combination of extensive literature reviews, case studies, and quantitative analysis, the paper examines the multifaceted ways in which road transport systems promote regional growth, address geographical imbalances, and enhance the quality of life within various communities. The study highlights the importance of road transport in enabling accessibility, trade, industrial development, and human capital circulation across regions. It emphasizes the need for holistic infrastructure investments, efficient planning, and sustainable maintenance of road networks to maximize benefits for both urban and rural areas.
