Publication Ethics and Malpractice Policy

At the IIP: Global Journal of Advanced Science and Technology, we uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in all aspects of publication. Our policies ensure transparency, credibility, and the quality of the research we publish, following international ethical guidelines and best practices.

Ethical Guidelines

  1. Authorship and Contributions
    All authors must have made substantial intellectual contributions to the work. Contributors must be properly acknowledged, and no one should be falsely credited.

  2. Conflict of Interest
    Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence research findings or interpretations. Disclosures must be made at the time of submission or review.

  3. Plagiarism and Originality
    We maintain a strict anti-plagiarism policy. Submissions must be original, unpublished, and properly cite all sources. Data fabrication, falsification, or manipulation is strictly prohibited.

  4. Research Ethics
    Research involving human subjects, animals, or sensitive data must comply with established ethical standards and obtain necessary approvals from institutional review boards.

  5. Peer Review Process
    Peer review is conducted confidentially, impartially, and with integrity. Reviewers provide objective, constructive feedback and avoid personal bias or conflicts of interest.

Malpractice Policies

  1. Investigating Research Misconduct
    We investigate allegations of misconduct thoroughly. In cases of proven misconduct, we may retract the publication, issue corrections, or contact the author’s institution.

  2. Retractions and Corrections

  • Retractions will be issued for serious ethical breaches or significant errors.

  • Corrections will be made for minor issues that do not compromise the validity of the research.

  1. Editorial Integrity
    Editors recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where conflicts of interest exist. All editorial decisions are based solely on academic merit.
