Abstract

India stands at the cusp of a transformative economic era, driven by the vision of “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India). A critical pillar in this journey is a robust entrepreneurship and start-up ecosystem, which not only spurs innovation and job creation but also empowers the youth to become drivers of national development. This paper examines the evolution of India’s start-up landscape, its current strengths, and the challenges it faces. It explores how the youth can leverage policy support, technological advancements, and global market trends to build sustainable enterprises. Finally, the paper outlines strategic recommendations for fostering an inclusive and high-growth entrepreneurial culture aligned with the Viksit Bharat mission.
