Abstract

Government policies are crucial in shaping entrepreneurial ecosystems in emerging economies. This study analyzes how policy frameworks, regulatory reforms, and institutional support affect startup development and sustainability. It examines the effectiveness of government initiatives like tax incentives, funding schemes, and ease-of-doing-business regulations. The research highlights the gap between policy design and implementation, which often limits startup growth. Using descriptive research and both primary and secondary data, the findings show that transparent regulations, financial support, and infrastructure boost entrepreneurship. However, inconsistent implementation and bureaucratic challenges remain. The study concludes that efficient policy execution is key to fostering innovation, job creation, and economic growth, emphasizing the need for ongoing policy review and public-private collaboration.
