Digital addiction has become increasingly common among students due to the widespread use of smartphones, social media, and online platforms. This study aims to understand how excessive digital use is related to psychological problems, especially anxiety. To measure these factors, the research uses two standardized tools: the Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale (BSMAS) to assess levels of social media-related digital addiction, and the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) scale to identify anxiety symptoms. Data collected through these tools helps examine whether higher digital addiction scores are connected to increased anxiety levels. The findings of the study highlight patterns such as compulsive social media use, difficulty controlling screen time, and emotional effects like worry or restlessness. The research also discusses how digital habits may influence students' sleep, concentration, and overall well-being. The goal of this paper is to provide a clear understanding of the link between digital addiction and anxiety, and to emphasize the importance of maintaining healthy digital routines for better psychological health.
