Innovation in education means bringing new ideas, methods, and systems that make learn-ing more effective, inclusive, and relevant to real life. In a rapidly changing world, education can-not remain traditional or limited to textbooks. India, as a developing nation with a rich cultural background and a growing youth population, has recognized the importance of innovation in edu-cation. This research paper explores the major innovative educational initiatives launched in India after independence, especially in the 21st century. It discusses their goals, achievements, challeng-es, and the role of technology, policy, and community participation in transforming the Indian edu-cation system.
