Abstract

Jain community in Mumbai has been known as the trading community. However, each community passes through the change and transition with the changing times and the challenges. Globalisation has changed the city of Mumbai and its communities. The paper traces the changes that the Jain community has been witnessing in case of its occupational profile in the twentieth century.
