CHANGING TREND IN PRACTICING SPIRITUALITY; A UNIVERSAL PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

In 20th century after globalization increased industries, Urbanization and industrial area, it concentrated diverse population and mixture of diverse cultures within specific demography, this paradigm leads changed in spirituality, it is shifted from religiosity to more personal, individualistic, secular also has flexibility while practicing spirituality for mental wellbeing. Present study focused on how traditional rituals and religious practices are transforming into new spiritual expressions and associated factors with it. How technology shaping spirituality at universal level including role of digital media, online communities etc.., Study also focuses on spirituality and mental well-being outcomes on divers’ population, study also emphasis on emerging forms of spirituality like eco-spirituality. Descriptive research methodology and secondary data will use by investigator as a data collection tool. Findings will show that there are certain patterns in spirituality which transformed in new spiritual expressions, Such Factors like urbanization and globalization have a role in changing the trends in spirituality, Spirituality will make key role in conserving sustainability.
