Role of Internships, Apprenticeship, and On-the-Job Training in Skill Development
Keywords:
On-the-Job Training, EmployabilityAbstract
Skill development has become a key requirement in today’s competitive job market. Formal education alone is not sufficient to meet industry demands. Practical training methods such as internships, apprenticeship programs, and on-the-job training play a crucial role in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills. This research paper studies the role of these three training methods in enhancing technical skills, soft skills, and employability of learners. The paper uses secondary data and analytical methods supported by tables and charts to explain the impact of experiential learning on skill development.
