Abstract

Psychological well-being is an essential aspect of mental health that reflects an individual’s overall emotional, psychological, and social functioning. It includes positive feelings, life satisfaction, self-acceptance, personal growth, and the ability to cope with daily stresses. In modern society, adults face various challenges such as occupational stress, social responsibilities, and economic pressures, which significantly influence their psychological well-being. Region and education are two important socio-demographic factors that may affect psychological well-being. Regional differences, such as rural and urban environments, influence access to resources, healthcare facilities, employment opportunities, and social support systems. Similarly, education plays a vital role in shaping an individual’s awareness, coping skills, problem-solving abilities, and socio-economic status, all of which contribute to psychological well-being. Understanding how region and education impact psychological well-being can help psychologists, educators, and policymakers develop effective mental health programs and interventions. Therefore, the present study aims to examine the impact of region and educational differences on the psychological well-being of adults.
